pheeeeww, kormega, well done you got me seriously worried for a second on this one hey, weed's OK, "you ain't a killer" like Big Pun so it ain't beef, I'm glad it's none seriously, my story is almost the same as yours (only i DID wear baggy pants but I don't sell weed ;) ) =*Nigga is not equal to "nigger"= that was disputed and disavowed By many conscious brothers Like Chuck D and others I'd rather side with them Than with those trying to sound like black men So if a black man chooses to step over the line and call a white man "nigger" - hey, that's just alright. i WON'T be offended at all. But since it's a term that is interwoven with slavery and all that racistic shit, i - being a non-black -feel that i have no moral right to apply that originally racistic term to black men. if i apply it to another white man - i'd just sound like i act like a black man who chose to step over that line. how's that to y'all? |
aiittt.aiiiit...aiiit, brothers. I see older brother came in with a lot of criticism regarding my and mega's fucking around with 'nigga'. Mozzy, bro, you got too analytical on us getting into that intricate shit of racial prejudices and shit. What I'd like to say is that I was exploiting the term not coz I thought it was a disrespect or something, I was using it coz I just liked it, regardless. And what I cannot get is why the fuck are they allowed to accost a caucasian with a 'nigga' and we cannot? Moreover, we cannot do that between us whites? What the FUCK. This is what I call enequity. And don't tell me shit about slavery and other bullshit allegedly making 'nigga' an offensive term. I just don't believe it coz blacks are so much strong and as you rightly underscored are the only mainstay of America inspite of they killing each other like mad dogs and doing some stupid shit which makes them find theyseves either in a casket ('find' i mean humorously, though ain't no humor when somebody is done) or in pens or whatever other state detention institutions. What i'm trying to say here is that I'm not sure that you'll get couple of slugs in your chest coz you justed white and called a black 'nigga'. Aiiitttt...so what we gonna do? We seem like a strong crew that might be dropping some dimes real hard on fake ass bitches. If mozzy wanna us reject the term I AIN'T mind, dawwgg, though it'll make my raps lose "black flavor", you know what I'm sayin? Mega, brother, what's you thoughts on that shit? |
And what I cannot get is why the fuck are they allowed to accost a caucasian with a 'nigga' and we cannot? Simple as that: "nigger" is a term that is offensive to and viewed as derogatory by a lot of black people. if they choose to be rude and offensive to themselves - it's their choice. i am not going to be the first to call a black friend "nigga" (but HELL YEAH i'll call him that if he says it's ok). use of "nigga" between the whites - that's plain imitation of blacks. why would we need that? i know, it sounds cool, plus you hear it in almost every track like 20 times. but it's their culture. You don't have to use their "cool" words to be accepted and respected in hip-hop. Do you, as they say. To cut it short - white people calling other white people "nigga" is like a supplement to Offspring's "Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)". Don't trade your individuality for the word that is trendy on another continent. |
I'm not trending dawgggg, I saw yourself you dig my verse. I got my own flava, you know what I'm saying???? I'm myself got my crew and fuck everybody else. So we popping or what? Any more moralizing? :p |
no moralizing. you two call me or each other a "nigger" - i'm not with you. bottomline. |
Бля, такая погода сегодня в Севасе охуительная +18, ветра нет, солнце и море... такое синее-синее душа отдыхает I love my city! |

life is multi-sided... one day you are - other you are not... |
as for yesterday topic... "You don't have to use their "cool" words to be accepted and respected in hip-hop. Do you, as they say." shit. I can appreciate that I haven't to use word "nigga" in my rhymes, coz I'm white, at least it have sense.... But not to use their "cool" words at all? There r not their words, just WORDS, if u feel it right way, why not? What words I gotta use? Shakespear vocabulary? lol Back to Nas' board... Once I asked black cats "Can white man feel hiphop like the black one? Is it possible? Or there is some boundary?" Most of answers were like: "Hiphop is not closed club. U can" Of course, there r haters anywhere, but I feel like I feel and don't give a fuck if any mothafucka sayin' I'm not, clear, Mozzy? U seems 2 b not a fool, but don't try to pose urself as a rap prophet. U r not. What d'ya think, 'Mise? |
2 kormega word, man, he cannot even imagine what 3 of us can be doing together. We will make the Earth itself shatter. |
I like to discuss such kind of shit, especially in English... Fuck, two last pages there r 3 of us here only. Hoes look, but can't understand anything, haha. tough shit "... my original Firm La Familia - organized criminals, boy u'll be hang-bang soldier, I'm a general..." Cormega's verse from La Familia - fuckin dope in my ears right now |
2 demise: i did, just making sure we're definite about it. 2 kormega: it's not about principles or other elevated matter. if i'm in a battle alone, i know my strengths and my weaknesses, so i proceed from that. if i'm in a battle with you two, i know two-thirds of our team is weak because it can be touched just like i did it. we go in strong, or i go alone. tired of repeating it over and over. Fucking Baltic weather, zero C and windy Also, grey clouds, humid air and slippery That ain't shit to me, though, I'm all glee How so? Cuz life sucks and I know We all end up pushing up flowers So Why the hell living sour? Why waste my power fighting off spleen? That's why my font colour's green Looks fresh and funky that way I'm in this life to stay and play Enjoy every moment of it's flow Hate it or love it? Naw, I'm above it Whether it's my day job (office and tie) Or leisure time, I won't crumble and die I *smile* like Pac and Scarface, every minute We are all in it And one day we all reach the limit Obstacles and hardship - grin and bear it Russia is Bear, so just grinning will win it. PS this bloody site doesn't edit the whole text in one colour, only line-for-line. so you'd have to imagine i type in green :D |
guys, don't blow things outta proportion. i do not claim to be a rap-prophet. i'm not asking you to give up your lifestyle or change your POV just because i said so. but like i said, wiggering is weak, and in battles we go in strong or i go alone. Speaking of Nas... i c u r into east-coast. hell, me too, though i listen to a lot of different stuff, not only rap. how about we exchange our album lists and see it maybe we can trade? :) |
2 mozzy uahahaha, dawggg. You are typing in green subliminaly and I'm green on my face coz I'm fucking sick physically and fucking twice as sick mentally of the place I find myself in. Shit...gotta come up with something to get my lousy ass outta that fucked up town. |
Check dat shit out brozaz, 1191 check for our thread. Mofakaz ain't daring to come in with something real. I guess real brozas just don't know that we'are popping in here...3 of us. This forum is a fucking pussy place. :morj: |

2 kormega: "pre-illmatic", huh? as far as i know, he only did a verse in "Live At BBQ" and "Halftime" for somebody's album. after that was "illmatic". |
Live At BBQ was from Main Source' album Halftime was from Zebrahead sdtrk, compiled by MC Serch :p also, peep my last review, Nas "Street's Disciple" http://www.kn.koenig.ru/rm/210/ |

Understanding ft. Biz Markie, AZ 6. Deja Vu - first Nas verse was relesed later in 95 on Verbal Intercourse with Raekwon and Ghostface Killa... Also I have original versions of It Ain't Hard To Tell, Represent and Life's A Bitch. The first one is fuckin brilliant - those L.Professor trumpets... oh shit, old-school How it looks, son? 12 tracks - real pre-Illmatic, huh! |
ummm... i think i have most of these tracks... just wasn't sure they were before illmatic yeah, Large Pro is a damn good producer... for others, his own albums suck :morj: (well, the music's still fine, but the flow...) |
aight, man , agree 100% Large Pro can do dope shit, but he needs an MC to flow over his beats Very few has both talents... What's ur producers top 5? |
Deja Vue? isn't that a Shaq's track ("No Love Lost", album "Can't Stop The Reign") with Shaq's verse erased and Nas' inserted? |
Ummm.... shiiiiiiiiit, so many good producers Premo Pete Rock Large Pro Marley Marl DJ Muggs |
man, I don't know, but hardly it's so want the link, compare by ur self? I can't imagine Shaq rappin over this beat... |
let me get home, i'll listen to that track again :D by the way, i dig Shaq's flow (he can't rap for shit, all his text are ghost-written, but the flow is tasty) |
stay for a little man, please, I wanna discuss something... |
Цитата:
Large Pro Pete Rock Alchemist Dr. Dre - yeah, his The Firm production is so east-flavor, especially unreleased joint |
|
Dre & Alchemist... Dre was a fucking genius and a ground-breaker with Chronic. His production is still great. i just don't know how the fuck he signed Rakim and didn't release an album for 2 years. i think he just fell off, 2001 wasn't stellar either Alchemist - too inconsistent. good track, awful track. too much electronics recently, not enough thump. not enough shit under his belt to get him in my top 5. i'd rather go for Clark Kent or Laz-E-Laze :D |
going home in 15 mins... if you have a list of the albums that you own, send it to [email protected] (my home e-mail). |
I think every producer has its ups and down not listen much of Alchemist but his production on The Lost Tapes is excellent: "My Way" and "No Ideas Original" but DJ Premier iz my favourite by no means... they say he makes beats for new Nas album. Waitin' Oh, I forgot 'bout L.E.S. I can put in top 5 instead of Alchemist. |
Man, it's too large Maybe u post what r u interested in, and I'll tryna help 1 |
yep, those two tracks were bangers... most of the rest is not. and yeah, they say Premo will do a WHOLE Nas album! |
have u heard The Firm unreleased tracks? they r nothin comparable to that wack album! Everyday Thing La Familia Desperados (full version with Nas and Foxy verses) - 6min 20 sec of true raw shit The Firm Freestyle - Nas rips Foxy into pieces... dope shit |
damn, my list is 1380 albums if i start telling you what i'm interested in, this site will go down on overload :) |
well, i saw you mentioned them... no, i don't have it. being also a Canibus fan, i can't wait ot get my hands onto that track(s). and (fuck, i just found out) i don't have the Firm album either. maaan, i suck big time :D |
Цитата:
Chucky Thompson, Salaam Remi are in Nas team. Of course we'll listen their work, though I don't like it much... and L.E.S. of course. Nas said that L.E.S. is like a family to him Waitin... They say it will drop in the end of the year I even saw the tracklist already! How do them niggaz know this shit! Incredible. |
Цитата:
are u fuckin with megaupload? If yes, u r lucky wait 4 links |
chucky, salaam and l.e.s. did most of the Street's Disciple... can't say i'm very impressed. to much experiment. |
no uploads, i trade a lot through post. |
only one time 4 ya, man take it http://www.megaupload.com/?d=01Q5A86M The Firm - The Album for rare and unreleased tracks check yo private... don't want any mofucka eat from my table:) |
kormega, thnx! however, i always prefer exchanging cd's through post, whadda you say 'bout that? "Deja Vu" is really cool, real Nas vintage. I mistook it for "Analyze This", where Nas verse is inserted (instead of Shaq's) right after Jigga's. Do you have a Nas bootleg that is called "Unreleased and Rare"? A lot of dope sh!t there. "Everyday Thing" - i have that from Dr. Dre's "Exclusive" album. Fucking great. |
