| commentary and forthright observations pertaining to the state of black |
| culture and hip- hop. Best known for his raucous single and accompanying |
| video for "Y'all Should Get Lynched," which features photos of A-list |
| hip-hop luminaries Three 6 Mafia, Jim Jones, The Game and 50 Cent |
| juxtaposed with stark images of slavery and lynchings, the video was |
| banned from YouTube within its first 48 hours of upload and generated an |
| immediate firestorm of controversy. Both a divisive and unifying figure, |
| NY Oil speaks unabashedly about the deplorable state of commercial |
| hip-hop music and culture on his debut release, which will now enjoy its |
| inaugural wide release with an entire additional disc of 10 tracks after |
| a limitied and spotty self-release of the 1 disc configuration by the |
| artist himself. |
