Born in the Bronx at the end of the 70ies, Ricardo Galindez, aka Oddateee, grow up in "Union City", a city in New Jersey where he starts his hip hop journey manly because of his meet with Komplx, a producer. They setup together the very nice crew called "The Labtheks". Then in 2002, Oddateee will finally get out of the Labteks and start his own solo work and also as a guest.

After his first album "Steely Darkglasses" out in 2004, a tour in USA and in Europe with Dälek in 2005. A lot of featuring (vocal) with Markus Kienzl (Sofa Surfers), Karuan's Chocolate Distance also in the project Deadverse Massive (Dälek + Destructo Swarmbots). Oddateee comes back with the impressive "Halfway Homeless", a kick under the belt to the new hip hop setup by our very madness of our guy.

In term of music that new album is located between old school hip hop from east coast, hispanic music, electro hip-hop and dark music like indus or New York noise. In term of lyrics, the textes and his flow translate his fears, angers and frustation with a very sure consciousness on those 13 tracks. Oddateee offers an album that he describes as coming from the very dark corner of streets, joint party in abandoned buildings in NYC.

Finally, the possessed flow of our maestro is featuring some throbbing, dark and violent instrumental as the very loud "Not even one", the scary "Devil run Nation" or the huge et touching "My Ex" that conclude this beautiful album, a true paranoid cavalcade and an acoustic issue for the brain from that genius.
