The quintet known as Vitium merges the styles of funk, jazz, and hip hop with thought-provoking lyrics to bring a new sound out of Cleveland. The band’s first album 'Oxygen Planet', produced by multi-platinum artist Michael Seifert, can be heard on numerous radio stations across Cleveland, including Q104 and Radio 92.3. Before forming, members of the band could be found performing everywhere from the Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music, to Severance Hall with the world famous Cleveland Orchestra. Vitium has played some of northeast Ohio's best venues including the Blossom Music Center, House of Blues mainstage and Cambridge Room, the Grog Shop, Agora Theater and Ballroom, and a sold out Indians game at Jacobs Field. With their recent signing to the Japanese label Goon Trax, Vitium will soon be distributed and promoted to a global audience.
