Как отмечает издание Variety, последней наградой отмечен эпизод, в котором главная героиня Нейтири пьет воду.

Таким образом, "Аватару" удалось повторить достижение картины "Пираты Карибского моря: Сундук мертвеца", которая в свое время также была удостоена шести премий.

Первое же место по числу наград осталось у фильма "Властелин колец: Две башни". Картина Питера Джексона стала лауреатом в семи категориях.
