First of all I'd like to say that in Hip-Hop there is too much gangster rap, Battle raps, punchlines, bling bling club rap so there is no need at all for Canibus to try to fit in any of those sub categories, unless he wants to sell out. He's within his own creative circle and that's just fine. I'd rather like the idea of an individual like him doing what he wants no matter what anybody thinks. So think about this. He's a person that bleeds, feels and breaths like any of the rest of us. All the negative talk about him dissing Eminem, LL Cool J, weak beats, "doesn't make sense because I can't understand abstract lyricism". I don't care because in the end Canibus does his thing. He starts this album with the fiery single "Captain Cold Crush". Later you hear "Merchant of Metaphors" which comes close to a break through in rap styles. Check out "Good vs Evil" its really a nice gem to finish the album with. The C of Tranquility subject matter ranges from personal struggles, obscure references, the metaphysical, mathematics, religion, to solutions and futuristic visions. Its really a great album overall and I do recommend it to everyone with an open mind.

So, again, here we are. This time two albums in one year, each album gets better and better. As any listener of canibus knows you have to basically decipher every track and break it down. Definitely worth the buy, no alternative to this kind of music, and as mainstream music continues to decline people do look towards real music. This album sold out on amazon and bestbuy the day it released what does that say? listen to those who the mainstream tells you not to listen to. Enough said
