Jean Grae, Kamal Gray of The Roots, King Britt and other hip-hop experts will be teaching free classes on music, art and dance, as part of the Smirnoff Movement Studio.
The Smirnoff Co. is sponsoring a series of free hip-hop classes to take place between April 13 and May 4, at the Paul Robeson Theater in Brooklyn.
Smirnoff Movement Studio courses will include, The Business of Music, Wheels of Steel 101, 201, and 301, Making Paper: Turning Art Into Dollars, The Art of Graffiti, Hip-hop Dance 101, 201, and 301, and more.
Many of the classes will be instructed by famous hip-hoppers from graffiti artist KET (the founder of Stress magazine), to dance instructor Kamaya Jones, whose list of clients include Jay-Z, Missy Elliott and Mary J. Blige, to The Roots' keyboardist Kamal Gray.
