On August 14th 2006, a song called "Monkey Business" by NY rapper Fabolous was leaked. At the end of the song, Fabolous says "Album coming in December.......makes a little sense.......makes a little sense over there at Def Jam.......got my boy Luda in September.......my nigga Jeezy in October.......Hov and Nas in November.......let's finish up the year right."

This could mean that Hip-Hop Is Dead has been pushed back to November.
