C: A little history of you. Where do you live, in which way have you been touched by hiphop etc etc
1. My name is MC Klava. Iam from KACTET gang (it is russian word which means - brass knukle). I am the artist of P.T.B. Production. My hometown is K-city, it is in Latvia. I lived in a poor hood, I didnt have money, food or anything else. One day my mentor Astmatik forced me to join his KACTET gang, from this time Iam rapping.
C: A little discography
2. My discography includes 2 mixtapes. First: Graf of the hip-hop (2007). Second: Busted Rhymes (2008). Now Iam working on my next studio-work.
C: Tell me something about hip-hop and black music in your city.
3. We have many groups and solo MC's. But not all of them doing real black music. We have so-called russian rap, which is not black music, but only based on rap. It is very specific. Gangs which doing real rap-music are not so much.
C: Do you know something about hip-hop and black music in Italy?
4. No
C: What do you think about mp3?
5. mp3 is very good thing for promotion, and I think the future is in digital destribution.
C: And about women in hip-hop and black music?
6. I have positive opinion on woman in rap. I like Eve, Remy Ma, Trina.
C: Have you performed live?
7. Yes, I have many live performances. Here is some of those.
C: Who is the artist you like most and why?
8. I like many artists. Mostly, it is american rappers. They have many good songs.
C: Do you think that hip-hop and black music videos represent the real hip-hop?
9. It depends on what you are calling hip-hop and what videos do you mean. I think all videos are made about life of the artist. If he is gangsta from streets, his videos are gangsta-style, if he is clubber, videos are colourful etc. I like the all ways in hip-hop.
C: In which way you live hip-hop?
10. I live it every day. Working at studio, perfoming life.
C: Tell me something about clubs and radios in your city.
11. Our clubs, and our radios dont like hip-hop very much, but not all of them. I performed in all clubs of my country and my songs were rotated in some radios. People liked it.
