Prevail is One of Vancity's finest from the group Swollen Members
He drops the heat on this EP called Baseball Bat And Nails
which is a EP. It's been a long time comin solo project from Mr Prev 1,
mastered by The Stylust one of the best sound guys in Vancity,
a little about Prev and the Swollen Members family updates.

With all the elements of success working in our favour, we got called up
by the majors, and I don't mean for baseball. Virgin had contacted our
manager and expressed interest in meeting up with us. We flew to L.A.
with a feeling in our stomachs that was hard to describe. Nervousness,
excitement, pride. We had grinded for years and now the big boys had
taken notice. We had our shot at the big time and we weren't going to
let anybody stop us. We gravitated towards Venice Beach, the home of
Evidence from Dilated Peoples and our big homie Block.
Swollen decided to work on two projects back to back. The album for
Virgin and an album that we would produce that was sample free, so we
could break our fans into the new sound. The Virgin album never saw the
light of day, the other project was called Heavy. To this day, one of
the biggest turning points of our career. Many of our fans were caught
off guard with the experimental sound and it forced us to take a very
close look at who we were, not only as artists but as people. We got
dropped from Virgin, had to give up our cribs, pack up our shit and come
back to Canada, feeling like we lost the World Series in 4 straight
games. When we got home, Moka sought his own path in music, Mad and Rob
and I stayed together but were recording solo projects, almost like we
needed to prove to each other that we were still dope and unaffected by
the defeat in L.A. We were starting to drift apart as a group and as
friends then, one Sunday morning, my phone rang and it was Madchild, he
had written a verse to one of Rob's new beats, the song was called Black
Magic and, the rest is history in the making.

А ИПиха то пиздата! Без ненужных песнопений. Нормальный, не баунсовый и не вычурный продакшен. И охуенный флоу Мэдчайлда (+голос). Тексты довольно боевые кстати на первую прослушку. Лучшее от СМ как минимум за 5 лет (после Блэк Мэджик)
