Thom Yorke is one of the most groundbreaking musicians of his generation. The lead singer with Radiohead, the Oxford songwriter took the band to stadium fame before introducing elements of abstract electronica, free jazz and other noise to their music.

Releasing his own solo album 'The Eraser' in 2006, Thom Yorke recently returned to solo duties. With work on a new Radiohead album well under way the singer played a number of dates in Los Angeles.

Set to play another very special solo show at Coachella this summer, Thom Yorke recently revealed that he had previously attempted to write a track with assistance from avant hip hop producer Madlib.

Speaking on BBC Radio 1's Giles Peterson show, Thom Yorke claimed that Madlib sent him beats to work with the track was never completed. The Radiohead singer said that "the timing was crap" but added that he had done "some stuff with" Madvillain, and a remix will probably come out "soon".
