I mix/produce allot of stuff and I have to say that everyday I draw from Bobs book of tricks. I have had the pleasure of having Bob mix a few tracks I did on the Lucy Pearl Album. I also had the pleasure of working with Ali Shaheed and Q-Tip. After listening to there sounds direct from the drum machine I almost fell out of my chair. They sounded horrible, and I mean horrible. Straight off a record player no eq no compression etc. The whole time I had thought that those guys had been coming with crazy poping sounds. Im not taking anything away from Tribe, but Bob did ALOT OF WORK on those sounds. ITs just worth noting that he was in tune with the music. I have never heard ANYONE flip a sample like bob power in terms of EQ and effects. He is just amazing. Never saw a person put that much into it. I really love his passion for the art. I also never HEARD a reverb like a Bob Power Reverb. To much to list, just got to LISTen
