| Alupka is a small town, located only 18 km from Yalta toward Sevastopol. The town itself could be interesting as one from the oldest towns of Crimea, with the small and windings streets. The main reason you should go there is one from most well-known palaces - Vorontsov's
Palace and the beautiful park beside it. The palace was built in the middle of XIX century by one of the richest man in Russia - Earl Vorontsov.
The palace was supposed to be a summer residence for his family as it been till the Revolution. During the Crimean conference in February 1945 the British delegation stayed at the Palace. Now it is a nice museum with huge beautiful park around it. You will certanly enjoy to spend time in the park.
